The beginning

After reading white dwarf this month and realising my modelling and painting time has fallen down to 0, I had a chat with Al. As such we’re going to do the ‘Tale of two gamers’, instead of buying £30 of stuff a month then painting it we’re going to try and paint £30 of stuff we already own.

This month is only a hlaf month so £15, I'm going to do a box of maraurders as I only have 8 painted!

I am going to try and paint a unit of Outriders or a unit of handgunners this half month they are around 12 quid so I will finish off some bits on existing unit I have not quite finished. What say we take photos and post the growing army as we go Lord Paulo?

Yeah, use photobucket or the like to store them as we'll soon use up our server space!

And so it has started, I have managed to do the chainmail base coat on 32 warriors, Arachon on foot, harry the hammer and arekon helbas.
Just now got to do the blue and purple washes, then dry brush white and the armour is finished. Shoud get the rest done today.

My army and the breakdown is:-

24 Greatswords full command, 30 Halberdiers full command, 24 Flagellants, 29 Spearmen, 30 Swordsmen full command, 20 Free company, 2 units of 5 Outriders with Champion, 2 x units of 6 Pistoliers with Champion.11 Knights full command, 16 Hand gunners full command, 8 Huntsmen with champion, 20 Hand gunners full command, 1 steam Tank, 12 Crossbows, 9 Knights full command, 2 x Mortars, 2 Cannons, 1 Helblaster, 3 foot warrior priests two with two weapons one with great hammer, 5 foot Engineers, 1 foot mage, 1 mounted mage, 1 Mounted Engineer, 1 foot Valten, 1 foot battle standard, 1 Witch Hunter, 1 Mounted Hero, 1 Luthor Huss Warrior Priest Mounted, ! Balthasar Gelt on a Pegasus, 1 ELector Count on a Griffin.

Not yet in the photo as in the assembly stage are a War altar and Arch Lector, 1 foot Hero with great weapon, 1 foot Battle Standard with the Grififn banner and 2 x 10 Hand gunners with full command and a Helstrom Rocket. My First task is to finish the units I have part painted these are:- Huntsmen, Crossbowmen both units as one unit is almost done the other is primed ready.

My one Knight unit is done along with the 16 strong hand gunner unit and the mortar and crew are all but done.

Once I have finished the units I started I will decide what 25 quids worth to do first.

hello guys I got stuff I'm half way painting, I'll post photos up later. I don't think I can play the £30 a month thing but I well be getting a box of dryads. I'll post photo of them at end of the month

Hi Vile nice for you to come here, we're not buying £30 a month just painting that amount of stuff.
